For over a decade I worked in software engineering and product development.
I had the opportunity to create, coordinate, plan and execute large scale projects together with many great people.
Now, I work with the aim to combine my experiences in software engineering with domain knowledge of astrophysics to create something unique.
For my BEng thesis, I worked with hard real-time systems and communication with mobile clients. Since then, I have worked with a plethora of technologies and paradigms.
My current fields of interest hover around "Highly concurrent and distributed computing (including HPC)" and "Software correctness and reliability".
I received my MSc for the work on discovering physical properties of early-type galaxies in relation to their dust contents and activity.
Currently, I'm a PhD student at AOI UAM.
My fields of interest include (but are not limited to) everything around two topics — black holes and galaxies. In particular, AGN feedback mechanisms and their influence on the ISM, quenching of star formation in, and evolution of, galaxies.
List of publications can be found
at my ORCID page.
My work towards an MBA degree focused on the perspective on how different departments in corporations operate and align with a single goal in mind, and the influence of megatrends on multinational enterprises (MNEs).
During my time at the Industry, I had the opportunity to lead a small area/department (~50 people).
More on that at my LinkedIn page.
